We accept most credit and debit cards; VISA, MasterCard, American Express etc. Also PayPal, please use:- alan@eltonshop.com as the payment e-mail. We even have several customers who send us CASH but we recommend sending  that by registered post for your own protection. When paying by credit card you will receive your sales voucher with the amount in UK Pounds but this will, of course, be translated to local currency on your card statement. We check the exchange rates every day to ensure accuracy but the amount will invariably be slightly different and hopefully slightly less than you were expecting.

An order for one item will have a $6 shipping and handling charge added, extra items are $3 each. The maximum charge for items ordered at the same time is $26. Orders over $250 are shipped FREE - this is equal to a 10%+ discount

If you have purchased from us before we will automatically use the credit card details of your most recent order. Just check that the expiry date has not changed. Our credit card company insists that we keep records for at least 3 months. This is in case there is ever a query on the transaction. However our records are on a password protected removable drive, so the risk to you is virtually nil. In fact you have many, many more chances of fraud by using your card at a gas station or restaurant, where so many unknown people can get the details. Also, with 'mail order' you get an automatic refund for any transaction queried by you. At retail outlets, you have to prove that you weren't there on the day of the transaction before you get a refund. Most credit card companies don't tell you this, so I hope that you are reassured.

Why do we need the 'security code'? - This 3 digit number never appears on any receipts, vouchers or statements, only on the card itself. So if someone is able to obtain your card number and expiry date they are unable to use them to order goods by mail order. They would have to have the actual card itself to be able to quote the numbers.
We realize that many people are concerned about security when sending card details by e-mail (although thousands have sent us their details without problems). There are a couple of ways around this:- Send the number in two parts or the Expiry Date separately or phone all or part of the details through. We usually answer the phone between 9am and 7pm (5 hours ahead of Eastern Standard Time), other times you will get the answer machine. Once we have your details they are kept on a password protected removable hard drive and any future orders can be very quickly processed.
